    Sachin plays for BCCI.
    BCCI headquarters are in Mumbai.
    Ergo, BCCI is a Marathi organisation...and therefore, Marathi manoos should get preference in the team...u know just like when Gavaskar used to play

    Sachin Tendulkar plays for Mumbai, not Maharashtra.

    And VVS plays for Hyderabad, not Andhra Pradesh.

    But I dont expect a Dilliwala to know that.

    Dont be hating us because Mumbai is closer to the geographic and emotional center of India than Dilli ever will!

    Sachin made his point on Mumbai being for all Indians and Thackeray made his now infamous comments in that context..

    Where does Maharashtra feature? Sachin does not play for Maharashtra and not all Maharashtrians share Thackeray's sensabilities.

    hi , dear friends we live in india , where we say whole world is our family, then why maharastra or mumbai only, we r indian and that is sufficient..

    otherwise sachin tendulkar is only ramesh dendulkar"s son. jai bharat.
