I'm able to use the term lazy for them because I've long ago accepted that Journalists back home are just not as professional as they should be.

The malicious aspect especially seems to appear when it comes to cricket and politics, and journalists look for sensationalism rather than actual honest reporting.

Your point does strike a chord with me though and it is a sad situation when a lot of people (myself included) just accept these things as part and parcel of Indian culture and brush it off.kny789noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134440631193335724.post-20178420690060794422010-02-11T02:47:16.965+05:302010-02-11T02:47:16.965+05:30Homer - that last sentence was too good!Homer - that last sentence was too good!Prabuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00056339173473012825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134440631193335724.post-51227290163584289862010-02-10T23:11:16.762+05:302010-02-10T23:11:16.762+05:30Expected isn't it?Expected isn't it?Trideephttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02039683101593206689noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134440631193335724.post-87060832008149933682010-02-10T22:24:47.680+05:302010-02-10T22:24:47.680+05:30kny789,

Its one thing to state that the BCCI demanded a turner and quite another that a square turner was mentioned in passing.

And there is a thin line between lazy and malicious.. And our journos dont seem to make the distinction between one and the other.

Cheers,Homerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13949049044524078820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5134440631193335724.post-21511446264605678082010-02-10T22:14:44.889+05:302010-02-10T22:14:44.889+05:30A part of me hopes that he gave seperate interview...A part of me hopes that he gave seperate interviews to each of those papers and hence the difference... but it's probably likely they were just lazy.kny789noreply@blogger.com
