scorpi, i'd first heard this song on a jeff beck group tape. even this version sounded like beck, tho yeah, as SR says, page and ec were with the yardbirds too. btw i'm all for page too.
anyway you got me dng a search on the song, and allmusic.com helped out, they even have single song reviews -

I have not heard much of them. Page and Beck were the guitarists though and it is a legendary band.
