What ruled Balaji out

Appears it was bouncing twice before it reached the batsmen in the nets. That pretty much ruled Balalji out.

    I heard New Zealand lodged a pre-match complaint with Match Referee Alan Hurst that Balaji's toothy smile blinds the batsmen.
