About 30-odd days have been freed up from misuse by the gamesters and sent across the B.C.C.I's way - ICC has rescheduled the ICC trophy and invited the busy season for the board.
Now, for the 4 weeks and a bit more created for us, the B.C.C.I has to work at peak abilities. It's a tough call for its members who were just relishing a hard-earned break from the game through the idyllic Sri Lankan sojourn of the team.
What can B.C.C.I do with this time....schedule a quick T20 tournament of wit?

right now they are busy playing selector selector as we are... :)
sb - just read this on cricinfo. very unlike the o' bcci, we must be rubbing off on them:

had to rub my eyes quite a few time to believe what i read over there...
I'm not surprised actually for Australia put up India to it a couple of days ago - http://content-usa.cricinfo.com/ausvbdesh/content/current/story/366152.html
Particularly this paragraph - Australia's pre-season calendar has opened up with the rescheduling of the Champions Trophy and they will weigh up the benefits of another team camp in September with going to India earlier to help them acclimatise. "There are two sides to it," Clarke said. "One-day cricket is still cricket under your belt, which is great leading into Test cricket. Now we can prepare in conditions we're going to be playing the Tests in."
Am not complaining for it gives us here a chance to set our wares out for display!
Wow! Something sensible at last from our friends at the BCCI. I was dreading another India-Pak-Bangladesh ODI tournament. But having said that, they might be tempted to send the team for that quadrangular. Can't really be sure until the tourney starts. :)
Excuse me guys, the article quotes my dear friend Niranjan Shah.
Surely, he must be joking.:)
