Is cricket that predictable?

by Gaurav Sethi

Earlier today while speaking to a fellow Bored Member I called it.

Much before Johnson’s tirade at the crease, and way before Strauss’ long vigil, I called their 100s.

Enough conceit for one little post.

Btw occasionaly I do get some stuff wrong, like Gambhir's meteoric rise.

But then I'm not in his mind fields, Paddy is.

No...it is to the eye that sees it so.

Good call on Gambhir, I too was convinced that he was yet another in the line of young Indian batting busts.

A hundred for Johnson! I hope at least now that their dumb ass captain & coach sends him earlier.

The way things are going, you would imagine Johnson to be the next captain.

Hi cricketanalysis,
Sure thing, Gambhir turned out to be one of those outta the blue surprises for indian cricket.

tho his del club mates have always thought very highly of him.

scorpi, tempting as it is to promote Johnson, much rather prefer they think of him as a bowling allrounder.

next thing you know, he becomes the third Pathan brother.
