I think that the time has come for a Sachin Tendulkar to retire and he should learn a lesson from Ricky Ponting that no matter how a great player you are, a time comes when everyone has to leave and I think one should do this at its peek if you are not performing for a long time then you got to figure it out and I think that Sachin should retire.
Sachin had reached the unparalleled stature in One Day Internationals due to his determined effort to rightly mix talent and fortitude. He realized not to stay on until the body not obeying the mind and thus losing his standing. Let him be there in the sports arena to motivate the next generation, but desirable not to get entangled into any spiteful lobby of politicians.
No one can ever compete with Sachin's record, i just don't know why everyone targets him most often. He is a master by name and will remain one of the best batsmen india has ever produced.
I also think that Sachin Tendulkar had to retire, he did all he had and it was just time to pass the torch to a new generation
