a yaCheeka to Cheeka...

india is looking at you with lots of hope...

specially after inspirational selection of amit mishra in first attempt...and the emphatic win there after...

amit mishra, if not for his bowling alone, then for the effortless ease with which he fitted into the team...and how the team responded positively with equal ease to the 'standby' captain...

the only man who was missing the action was...kumble himself...

goes to show that TINA is nothing but the demon in our mind...

and that you can only know when you throw them in the heat of the moment...rest is speculation...

some will pass...some will fail...

but no one can take the right to fail from them...

coz what this win has done is...it has fueled the hopes of many aspirants...looking forward to do an 'amit mishra'...

so...in not so distant future you will have to take some decisions which will define the direction...the vision...the shape...of team india...

sometimes you will be assisted...

sometimes you will have to act tough...on your own...

i only hope that whatever decision you make...is well thought of...and transparent...

so that there is no scope left for further postmortem...

as they say...

if you think you can...or if you think you can't...

you are right in both case...

good point PAN. some time we try to give shape to something but can't, and some time without our efforts something come out as per our or more than our expectation. This is the same case. now the right time to take some steps for future cricket..
we have to make half of the team from the scrach as our 5 stars are on the age and we have to do something......

sometimes it happens...some times it not...

but common thing in both is...

i just want them to do it without fear of failure...coz game is not played that way...

cheers!!

More than a selector, he may well serve to the right PR guy... what do you think? Doing quite well on the PR handling the media.

yes scorpy...

actually he is doing quite a good job...considering the impressions of his fallibility against them...

he seems to be enjoying it...which is good...

sp, regardless of the final XI selection, Cheeka and Co will be judged by the test outcome. From here on, the media, public will settle for nuthin less than a win at Kotla. And if oz pulls off a Perth (as India did), what will everyone say?

Say, Mishra plays, has a bad game, India loses, then what?
Say, Jumbo plays, has a grt game, India loses, then what?
Or the other way round.

I'd like Cheeka to make an informed decision, even if it's an unpopular one. Even if it goes against popular sentiment.

yes NC!!

an informed one even if its unpopular one...not based on the result of test...which is more important i think...
