I was very happy for him, and so was he, for a change. He smiled. The players gathered around him, as they do around a big buffet at the end of a tough day’s play. He smiled. That was something when each player spoke to him. The last time Dravid had all the players so close to him was when the knives were out and Chappell was still in. As each player spoke, Dravid appeared to explain the science behind a catch and how he doesn’t understand when players say they prefer to take natural catches. Think they even touched him. But I can’t say for sure it was very early in the morning. However, I'm certain he smiled.
