Sachin, drop Bhajji.

by Gaurav Sethi

In his last match, Bhajji bowled half his quota of 4 overs - 2-0-23-0. No surprises, against RCB he again bowled only two, 2-0-14-0.

Then he played this ingenious shot off Rohit Sharma, first ball duck. At least now Bhajji has been part of a test and T20 hat trick, once the hunter, once the hunted. Not tough to say where Bhajji's batting decline started, sending him early can only quicken his switch into the next Irfan Pathan. And now we can't even blame Greg Chappell.

What will the Mumbai Indians do with Bhajji today, should they even play him? But Sachin is Sachin, and he will open, and Bhajji, well, he's always within earshot, that close to Sachin. I wonder, when a fellow cricketer becomes a good friend, does a captain have it in him to drop him? Sachin, can you drop Bhajji? And can you drop yourself down the order?

mumbai indians need both to drop (one from team other from opening) but it wont happen coz friend sachin and opener sachin will weigh down captain sachin...

I think they're problem was telling Rahane, Dhawan and S Tiwary that they were worse batsmen than HS and Pinal Shah. More mental issues than anything
