Remember that you can make unlimited changes until the start of today's match at 6pm IST. After that you can make only four changes for the rest of the tournament. A few things to keep in mind:
  1. It probably makes sense to pick only 4 players from the two sides you see not making the finals, so that you can have a full 11 for the big game. But this might not always get you the most points.
  2. And if you do happen to only have two players from one team which does make the final you'll be left with one player not scoring points anyway.
  3. There are showers scheduled for today's game and the final and there are NO reserve days. In case a semifinal is rained out, the group winners proceed to the final, which would mean if today's game ends up being a no-resulter, Aus will go through.
  4. If play looks unlikely today, it might be a better bet to pick just two Aussies and save the rest for the one game which looks like it won't be affected by rain, NZ vs Pak. That way you can preserve 4 changes for the final, if it does eventually take place.
So thats a lot to keep on your mind, but you've got enough time until the scheduled start of play. Good Luck!

No points awarded in washed out games?

Anon, you do get points for your player's performances, I did get points from the Ind-Aus match. But its a tough call on whether you'd want to take the chance if the game lasts 30 overs or less...
Cheers

The link you posted shows the same forecast for both semis. I'm not sure what to make of it, I guess I'll just wait till today's toss. Hopefully they'll atleast get the game underway.

lol, weather forecasts keep changing. On Thursday it only showed the second semi as being threatened by rain.
Best bet is to wait and see how it goes...
