The situation this relates to is so tragic maybe I couldn't find anything funny even if there was something.
Life as a Pakistani cricketer is indeed tough.
Although it has to be said that some of the players don't help themselves. Biting a cricket ball during a televised game is not exactly a smart move.

@ Good Cricket wicket: I believe he did it out of desperation caused by the situation. Let's not forget he was told 40 minutes beforehand he'd be captain, his side was collapsing, team politics in the background, there was the threat of Ijaz Butt cutting his throat if he didn't win, Intikhab Alam went so far as to tell him "win the toss or else." That tells you about the negativity in the team. I mean, what the hell kinda crazy situation was that?
Plus he's not that smart as it is.

It may well have been desperation, but it still wasn't the smartest thing he's ever done.
There's no excuse for biting a cricket ball or dancing on the pitch. Stop justifying such stupid behaviour.

About the 'win the toss or else' stuff, these guys are ODing on Bollywood; also Mohd Asif's role in the team is much clearer to me now.
