aajtak showing that batsman end stump mic caught some one saying "if he will play shot he will get run" in singhalese and immediately after that randiv bowled no ball...
now whose voice was that is as good a guess as there was no one near bat except sehwag and wicket keeper...
to think we actually were happy for Murali getting to 800. one of them should have got out to another bowler deliberately in that first test.
randinv, i suspect was only following instructions. the real culprit is probably the 'honest' lankan captain. ugly aussies, move over. here come the lankans.
Consider Randiv’s brains, or lack thereof. If Kumar was in fact instructing his bowler, was that instruction to bowl a no-ball? Ridiculous – a batsman can and, in this instance did, hit a no-ball. A more canny bowler would have bowled a wide – because it is the wide that, by definition, you cannot hit.
@Sujan: Well Sujan, I think, if you are trying to deny a batsman a run to get to his century (and thus deny him his century altogether) then a no-ball is a more fool proof option. A wide a batsman may chase and If he even gets a small nick to it can pick up a single. However a no-ball seals it even before the ball reaches the bat.
But do you think that yound Randiv knows that rule? Even Sehwag, a player with immense experience, doesn't know that the runs won't be counted to his tally. Randiv didn't bowl it fast, he just tossed it up, you must be dumb enough to think, 'Sehwag won't hit me out of the ground, if I bowl a ball like that'.

This is an excellent cartoon AB! Why don't you submit it to cricinfo as well, they have a section in page2 for cartoons.

@Mahek - Just to nitpick, it could be the lower body of a right arm bowler bowling around the wicket ;)
But Randiv wasnt bowling around the wicket was he ? :)
