Salman Khan’s IPL team name shortlist
Just a matter of time before Salman’s team name is finalised – in the running are Salman’s Black Bucks, 11 Ka Dum and Bareily Bare Devils.
Names like Bandra Bare Bodies, Nanga Eleven and Naked Cricket were considered lewd for a team of IPL standing, while names like Jodhpur Jailors and Barely Dressed Devils were misleading.
The eliminated names raised the issue with Jatman, pointing at DDCA politics. Mr Jaitley was not available for comment.
Word is that the name Bareily Bare Devils is related to a big name, whereas 11 Ka Dum has Bollywood connections. As for Salman’s Black Bucks, it’s a shot in the dark.

Shoaib Akhtar - Salman Khan : Two sides of the same coin
This is in reference to Bored Guest Megha's comparison between Shoaib Akhtar and Andrew Symonds (AS and SA - Two peas in a pod). I think Shoaib Akhtar also reminds me a lot of our hindi film hunk Salman Khan in many ways.
Both possess an enviable physique. Both are over-rated performers. Both have had disciplinary problems and have been controversy-ridden. Both have been the favourite punching bags of the media. Both have inexplicable accents.... Mumbai meets Manhattan for Salman and Pindi meets Birmingham for Shoaib.
In fact, if one discounts his height (5'7), Salman could be the ideal person to essay Shoaib's role if a movie is ever made on the life and times of the speedster.
