3 wickets in 2 shops

by Gaurav Sethi

Stroll into KP video library where KP and I laugh at Yuvi’s captaincy. Piyush Chawla hurls himself from outside the TV to catch Gibbs. If you didn’t know better, you’d think that was Gibbs catching himself. Then I move to this anonymous stationer just in time for a freak stumping that uproots Symonds from the crease (shouldn’t Sanga have uprooted the stump) – TV’s on mute and so am I. And then so is Rao. First Roy, now Rao, what next – Yuvi has the last laugh. And Zinta behaves like a cricket virgin again. Is this her first game?

NC... In Symonds'case Sanga didn't need to uproot.

The law clearly states that you need to uproot the stumps only when both the bails are dislodged.

It is deemed legitimate when you dislodge a bail when at least one bail remains seated on the stumps.

Hope that explains !!

Thanks Raja, Mr Cricket next to me at the stationer pointed out the same, I was caught in the moment there, and didn't want to mess with the narrative here. Creative license!

Do check the KP coupon.

Btw this is incredible, but between KP and the stationer I went to the booze shop, a sweaty, crowded slow one, picked beverages, and made it for the YS next hat-trick over. That over in between sure took a long time.
