jatman...the fake opener

by straight point

everything that has happened with me has been thrust upon me...

i had a thick mop of hair...baldness was thrust upon me...

i was a middle order bat...opening was thrust upon me...

i am not a leader...captaincy was thrust upon me...

one thing which was not thrust upon me...i was born with it...

'foot in the mouth...'

so here i go...i admit that my injury was sustained during ipl semifinals...

ha ha SP!
I'll extrapolate that:
I put my foot in the mouth in the IPL semis when I told the coach McGrath was not needed. Thats when I injured my shoulder trying to adjust my foot inside the mouth :-)
It's the curse of the pigeon!

He is a but too honest for his own good..

He did sit out a couple of IPL games cos of injury.. was it the same shoulder injury?

Wonder then why he returned to play with the T20 WC in sight?

I just found out that the ICC will not approve Sehwag's replacement unless it is proved that Sehwag got injured while on tour in England.

This statement obviously means that DK cannot join the team, which is why he still has not been approved by the ICC.

ICC only allows replacements for those players that get injured while on tour.

Forget opener, forget middle order, soon he'll just play in the muddled order.

Anyway, the press are having a real go at Viru and his injury disclosure scheme. Fantastic double standards here, how many times has Zaks gone into a series, bowled a few overs, vanished, no questions asked. If they wanna take a fresh stance, that's another thing, but there's a clear case of double standards. Jatman's PR sucks.

That doesn't take away from the fact that the Jatman messed up again.

Does anyone remember if he had dislocated the same shoulder early in his career (maybe 2001)?

Hopefully, he can recover soon.
