If only he was as handsome ;-)
If it were only a comparison of this pose, then I would rephrase the headline to "Shahid Afridi: The Andrew Flintoff of Pakistan". I think we have seen Flintoff standing elated in this posture even before we got used to the "Superman" of Afridi.
We didn't talk about Flintoff's as much because he kept doing it for every other wicket he took...
And Afridi won a T20 WC for his country !!
Afridi does it better.
Actually Afridi has been doing this pose for many years. It only got noticed in the 2009 T20 World Cup.
If you go to youtube and search for 'catch that almost ruined a career' you'll see a video of Afridi from June 2001 where he celebrates Trescothicks wicket with the same pose!
Captained by the irresistible Virat Kohli, the Royal Challengers Bangalore Ipl 2019 Squad will be aiming to break their title drought in the IPL. Having retired from international cricket, the onus will be on AB de Villiers to bat at his absolute best. They have taken huge punts on big-hitters like Shimron Hetmyer and Shivam Dube. Tim Southee and Umesh Yadav bring experience and quality to the pace attack.
